Former X-Factor contestant Jonjo Kerr has been cleared of two counts of rape and one count of attempted rape.
The singer, who appeared on the eighth series of the ITV show, was arrested in September 2019 at the Imperial Pub in Chorley, which he took over after rising to fame on the 2011 show.
When arrested, he dismissed claims he had raped the woman as ‘shit’, but was later charged with the offenses and appeared at Preston Crown Court.

The jury took an hour and 55 minutes to find him not guilty.
Kerr, 38, made it to the show’s final but was eliminated in the first round after his performance of the Kinks classic “You Really Got Me.”
The series was won by Little Mix.
He took over the Imperial Pub in Chorley in 2017, describing it as “a dream come true”, but it is understood he left the building in December 2019.
He now lives in Derby.
