Al Ahly defender Rami Rabia addressed the criticism he’s receiving and how he deals with it ahead of Al-Hilal game in the FIFA Club World Cup.
The Red Devils started their 2022 Club World Cup journey by overcoming CONCACAF representatives Monterrey, beating them 1-0.
After that, the African Champions had to confront Palmeiras in the semi-finals, but unfortunately, the Brazilians came on top.
As a result, Al Ahly will now be playing Al-Hilal for bronze medals as they will be aiming to repeat last year’s achievement.

In the press conference ahead of the third-place decider game, Rabia declared winning intentions while showing respect for the opponents.
“Last year I was disappointed for not playing in the Club World Cup, but I respected the manager’s decision,” Rabia said.
“Since then, I’ve been doing my best in training to improve as a player.
“I want to advise younger players not to pay a lot of attention to what people say on social media. They should always be working to improve. You need to work hard in order to make a name for yourself in Al Ahly.
“Playing against Al-Hilal will be difficult, the more focused team will be victorious. We will do our best to win third place again.
“I played alongside André Carrillo and Matheus Pereira when I was in Sporting CP, they are very good players.
“Al-Hilal is a formidable opponent and we will show the world that both countries [Egypt & Saudi Arabia] have excellent football.”
