Amber Gill has revealed she was sent death threats after filming an Instagram live, remarking that the live video had grabbed the attention of Love Island star Luca Bishs sister.

The 24-year-old, who won the show in 2019 with Greg OShea, has been outspoken over her criticism of Luca in recent days, dubbing him public enemy no1 equal with Dami and claiming that the fishmonger hates fellow contestant Tasha Ghouri with a vengeance .

In a recent tweet, she insisted that her tweets are all hyperbole as thats her sense of humor, adding: I dont genuinely dislike anyone on the show and its never that deep.

However, she appears to be on the radar of Lucas sister Claudia Bish, whos running his Instagram account while hes away in the villa, with Amber tweeting that his sibling should block her if she doesnt want to know what I think.

Amber told her 408,000 Twitter followers that Lucas sister came on an Instagram live she was doing when I wasnt even talking about Love Island, before derogatory comments started being sent by members of the public in the direction of the TV personality.

It was really sad because after her comments on my live people started sending me death threats so its just a vicious circle you cant control crazy people wanting to hate, she wrote.

I understand shes upset and I hate that but all my tweets are comedy only.

A few days ago, Lucas family released a statement urging fans of Love Island to stop sending abusive messages in his direction.

Please, please, please stop messaging abuse. Luca can’t even see it the people that love him most can, they said.

Ive just been sick from crying so much at the death threats (an hour on from that last story). How can people be so inhumane.

Luca received backlash for his overreaction to Gemma Owens flirty conversation with Billy Brown, as well as his frequent digs about dancer Tasha.

On Monday, his family spoke out once more to apologize for Lucas eruption over Gemma, describing the way he responded as insensitive.

I want to apologise on behalf of Luca for his insensitive reaction on last nights episode. I know that when he watches it back, he will be embarrassed and deeply apologetic, they said in a statement.

We as his family dont condone his behavior last night, but we do understand he is in an intense environment where his emotions are heightened. Last night was not reflective of the boy we all love at home.

The statement continued: Please be aware death threats and nasty comments totally overstep the mark and something we as a family should not have to endure, for this reason we have turned off the comments and messages.
