The Verdict Reviews: What Did Critics Have to Say About Off-Broadway’s The Nosebleed?

The autobiographical piece explores playwright and star Aya Ogawa’s relationship with their late father.

Aya Ogawa’s The Nosebleed is officially open Off-Broadway, and the reviews are in. The production celebrated opening night at Lincoln Center Theater/LCT3’s Claire Tow Theater August 1 after beginning performances July 16. The production is set to continue through August 28. Ogawa, a Tokyo-born playwright whose work focuses on women and non-binary perspectives, both direct and stars in the work alongside Drae Campbell, Ashil Lee, Chris Manley, Saori Tsukada, and Kaili Y. Turner.
