Arsenal fans blame two individuals for first defeat of season at Man United 101 Great Goals

The Arsenal faithful have taken to social media in their absolute numbers on Sunday evening, to make their frustrations with two individuals crystal clear.

Mikel Artetas troops, of course, were back in action a short time ago.

Aware that a victory would see them climb a full four points clear at the Premier Leagues summit, the Gunners made the trip to Old Trafford, eyeing a 6th win on the bounce.

When all was said and done in Manchester, though, it is safe to say that all associated with Arsenal were brought back down to earth with a bang.

This came as a debut goal on the part of Antony was followed by a Marcus Rashford double, to guide the evenings hosts to an eventual 3-1 triumph.

On the back of the final whistle sounding on an altogether disappointing evening for their side, it should therefore come as little surprise to hear of the Arsenal faithfully flocking to social media, to vent their frustrations.

Whilst so often it proves to be players who bear the brunt of the blame on matchday, though, on this occasion, it is a pair of individuals who watch on from the sidelines who have been most widely targeted.

The Gunners duo in question? Manager Mikel Arteta, and sporting director Edu Gaspar.

Amid the collective claim that a failure to adequately reinforce the clubs midfield ranks over the course of the summer window cost their side dear at Old Trafford, the two men in charge of transfers have been ruthlessly slammed, with some of the highlights from across Twitter showcased below:
