Yolanda Hadid is jokingly clapping back at critics on TikTok who called out her parenting tactics on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

Yolanda Hadid took to TikTok to jokingly respond to all the criticism she still receives for her parenting tactics on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Yolanda hasn’t appeared on the show in years, but her three-season run still garners strong responses from viewers, considering how famous her children are. During Yolanda’s tenure as a housewife, she allowed cameras to capture her at-home life with her then-husband David Foster and three children Gigi, Bella, and Anwar Hadid.

Gigi was a rising model at the time and just entering into her current reign as one of the industry’s leading supermodels. With Yolanda serving as the first supermodel in the family, she was very involved in her children following in her footsteps. Cameras captured Yolanda micromanaging Gigi’s photo shoots and monitoring her daughter’s eating habits. One infamous scene showed Yolanda encouraging Gigi to eat almonds when her daughter said that she was hungry. “It’s hard to not eat any sugar, and it’s hard to have to eat salad every day,” Yolanda said while discussing the sacrifices that come with working as a model. During a birthday party for Gigi, Yolanda prevented her daughter from eating any of the birthday cake she was gifted.

Yolanda recently responded to criticism she’s been receiving on TikTok about her parenting style with her supermodel daughter. “#worstmomever #almonds,” Yolanda captioned the sarcastic video that showed herself eating a giant bowl of almonds while doing everyday tasks around her lavish home. The video seemingly referenced a previous TikToker from Patty Pop Culture who accused Yolanda of encouraging her children to follow restrictive diets in order to lose weight.“[She] made sure they never ate anything too calorie-dense, not even cake on their birthday,” the fan said in the video. A throwback clip showed Yolanda encouraging Gigi to “eat a couple of almonds” after the model said she was feeling “really weak.”

The TikToker went on to note Bella Hadid’s admission of having an eating disorder and hating the nose job she received when she was just 14 years old. The fan seemingly suggested that Yolanda was guilty of leading Bella to feel insecure and less valued than Gigi. Elsewhere, the fan referenced the criminal charges Yolanda filed against Gigi’s ex and co-parenting partner Zayn Malik after entering into their home while Gigi was out of town. Zayn eventually pled guilty to the assault charges and faced a year of probation. But many onlookers continue to accuse Yolanda of being the real aggressor who overstepped her boundaries by seemingly attempting to monitor Zayn watching his daughter while Gigi was working overseas.

Now with Yolanda releasing a sarcastic TikTok video clapping back at the criticism, she’s showing how unbothered she is. She has three children who did well for themselves in the modeling and business world, and Yolanda likely takes some credit for their success. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum knew what she signed up for when joining the show. Despite being long removed, Yolanda is still subject to criticism from new and old show fans who are still turned off by her onscreen parenting style.
