Ric Flair found himself in hot water last year following Dark Side of the Ring’s episode covering WWE’s infamous Plane Ride From Hell. Among a number of stories and accusations ranging from amusing to downright dark was an allegation from a flight attendant who was on the plane claiming an exposed Flair pressed his body up against her and forced her to touch his genitals.

Ric Flair Denies The Allegations Again

The Nature Boy denied the allegations at the time, but surprisingly, he has dug it all up again. During this week’s To Be The Man, Flair once again addressed the allegations, labeling them “bullshit”. The topic came up when the two-time Hall of Famer reiterated how upsetting it was to be removed from WWE’s opening signature.

“One of the most difficult things I’ve ever been through in my life personally, aside from health issues, is having 85,000 people tell me within two minutes, I wasn’t on the opening of Raw or SmackDown,” Flair said on the podcast. WWE proceeded to remove the image of Flair, along with his iconic “woo”, from its opening montage after the allegations were made.

Promises To Call People Out

The leading reason Flair appears to have brought the accusations back up unprompted is because they will be addressed in his upcoming documentary. Made with the help of WWE, Flair has promised his side of what happened on the Plane Ride From Hell will be explained thoroughly in the doc, and that he will be “calling some people out big time”.

Heidi Doyle, the flight attendant who made the accusations about Flair, claims she agreed to an out-of-court settlement when she sought legal action against WWE years ago. A lot of issues arose from the last season of Dark Side of the Ring for Flair, including comments he made abiut Chris Kanyon years ago. The show’s creators are reportedly working on a new season after collaborating with The Rock to create a similar show about wrestling’s territories.
