Marcus Rashford fans speak out against racist social media trolls
Rashford’s Instagram post was captioned, saying: One of my football idols growing up @davidbeckham sorry the encounter was brief as I recovered but hopefully we can reconnect soon.
Fans rushed to defend Rashford as racist comments were posted in the comments section under the photo of him meeting David Beckham.
One defended Rashford saying: how can you support a team and then racially abuse them? they played so well what a shame.
A second wrote: All report the racist remarks.
A third said: Before anyone thinks of posting abuse, just remember that because of Rashford starving children were able to get free school meals during the covid pandemic. A man of principle and legend on and off the pitch.
