When visitors visit Walt Disney World, they have so many choices when it comes to live entertainment. Of course, the main focus for many is the amazing rides and attractions like Space Mountain and Expedition Everest, but for those looking for more traditional fun, they’re in luck too.

From plays like Beauty and the Beast at Disneys Hollywood Studios to fireworks shows at the Magic Kingdom. Customers looking for magical Disney entertainment are certainly in luck.

At EPCOT, this is also true with Harmonious’ takeover of World Showcase Lagoo. However, this show was not built to last. Just a few months ago, we learned that Disney was planning to replace this show. We weren’t sure when it would go away, but with a new update to the 50th anniversary page in the My Disney Experience app, we now know it won’t last long.

All special anniversary celebrations end on March 31, 2023, which means that date could very well be the last time anyone sees Harmonious, although the show could also end earlier. At the very beginning of the show, fans were torn over the new look and hated the fact that part of the show obstructed the view of the World Showcase lagoon.

From the very beginning, fans have criticized the new show, with fans calling Harmonious “horror” and “preposterous”.

Harmonious opened to guests on September 29, 2021 and made its official debut on October 1, 2021, for Disney Worlds 50th anniversary and EPCOT anniversary. The show, while getting mixed reviews, is really unlike anyone else, as it features pyrotechnics, lighting, fountains, and music that all work together to create harmony in the theme park.

What do you think of Harmonious?
