Sean Kugler challenging Arizona Cardinals firing, denies allegations

During their trip to Mexico City to face the San Francisco 49ers, the Arizona Cardinals fired offensive line coach and run-game coordinator Sean Kugler. He allegedly groped a woman the day before the game.

Kugler disputes the dismissal and denies these allegations.

As reported on the PR Newswire, Kugler has hired Shields Petitti Employment Law to file an arbitration claim on his behalf, citing multiple claims against the Cardinals for his termination for cause.

The record calls for unsubstantiated allegations.

“The allegations against Coach Kugler are simply untrue and have caused Sean, his wife and his family enormous personal and professional damage,” said the law firm’s Michael Petitti. “Coach and his family were desperate to understand from the Cardinals front office and others what justifications or evidence had been used to terminate him for just cause.”

Apparently, the cardinals fired Kugler without questioning him or conducting an investigation.

This will be a situation to watch in the coming weeks.
