Racist Belinda Migor blames diabetes after saying black men should be killed

A racist woman’s voice note, which was leaked by a WhatsApp group supposedly called Pitbulls be my voice, in which derogatory comments were made about black people standing up for dogs has angered people.

The voice note made the rounds on social media on Wednesday, where a woman identified as Belinda Migor, owner of Gauteng accounting firm JCS Office Support, suggested banning black people instead of banning pit bulls.

This comes in the wake of a petition to ban the ownership of pit bulls which has garnered more than 126,000 signatures, following attacks where aggressively-bred dogs mutilated children to death.

The voice note

I still wholeheartedly agree with you. What I’m saying is ban black men. They rape, they steal, they kill. Worse than any pit bull could do and they get away with it,” Migor said in the voice note.

“Ban lawmakers, ban Ekurhuleni, ban black men. Get all the black women and cut out their wombs and ovaries so they can’t procreate. Because they will all turn the same way. Because they are all the same.

I’m very passionate about that. Ban them. Kill them. Shoot them. Get rid of them because they are the problem, not pit bulls. Not animals. Animals are beautiful and they deserve a warm bed, food, love and attention and everything in between. God created these animals. Who created black men? Do you think God? I do not think so.

Denial

Migor initially denied being behind the voice note.

Why should I do it? What do you want me to say? If we live in a democracy, why don’t I have the right to free speech? Hypothetically ? Who can do something about it? You have no proof, she told TimesLIVE.

When asked what sparked the anger against black people, she defended herself and said she had had a difficult life and did not discriminate against black people.

Diabetes

She then apparently changed her tune and blamed her diabetes for her hateful rant.

Well, I’m diabetic, you can’t think clearly, you can’t concentrate, it’s like a cloud over your mind.

The South African Human Rights Commission (SAHRC) told the publication it was aware of the circulating voice note and had sent it to the provincial office for further investigation.
