The Tampa Bay Buccaneers returned to the .500 mark after their 20-18 road loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 6. From inefficiency in the red zone to their woes on third down, it was a day to forget for Tom Brady and company.

Ben Roethlisberger was in attendance at Acrisure Stadium to watch his former team claim their second win of the season. Roethlisberger watched Brady closely throughout the game, from quarterback time on the field to even his outburst on the Buccaneers offensive line on the sideline.

Roethlisberger came away with a takeaway from Brady’s last encounter against the Steelers, which centered on his belief that the seven-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback didn’t appreciate that.

He didn’t seem to want to be there, Roethlisberger on the latest episode of his Footbahlin podcast with Ben Roethlisberger. Maybe it was the pressure, and he was getting hit and everything. At one point, I looked over there and said, There’s no way he’s enjoying this. No way. It didn’t look fun for him. He just looked like a different Tom.

At a press conference ahead of the Buccaneers’ Week 7 game against the Carolina Panthers, Brady was asked about Roethlisberger’s recent comments about him, to which he noted that losing just isn’t fun. .

I think every time you lose it’s not much fun for any of us,” Brady said. I think we just have to play better. I think the reality of solving a lot of problems is to play better and win. Yeah, I’ve definitely been in seasons where we haven’t played as well as we could, and I don’t think it’s been as enjoyable for anyone.

I think everyone works hard to get it right. I’m sure in your job you like to do things right. We like to do things right in our jobs, and when things aren’t going well, I don’t think anyone is happy in their jobs when things aren’t going well. Were definitely not happy when it wasn’t right and worked hard to make it right.

Brady has had a rollercoaster campaign in his 23rd NFL season, as the Buccaneers are 1-3 in their last four games. They will have the opportunity to get back on the right foot in their next road matchup with the Panthers.
