Since WWE banned Matt Riddle from television for six weeks, it has been reported that he was receiving drug treatment after a pair of positive tests this year. There have also been quite a few questions and speculation surrounding these reports, mostly related to WWE’s wellness policy and Riddles’ divorce and custody cases with his ex-wife Lisa.

This week, adult film actress Jordan Maxx also tweeted about her relationship with the former United States Champion, alleging drug use (and seeming to confirm he’s in rehab) and infidelity. . Another artist Riddle had been linked to, Ivy Malibu, released statements about a failed romance with a no good person after being mentioned in stories and articles about Riddle. And Daniella Petrow, who was with Riddle earlier this year, tweeted videos reiterating past allegations of inappropriate behavior and sexual abuse, and calling on WWE to fire him.

Today (December 21), Riddle sent his own message indirectly responding to Maxx and others who posted about him and thanking his followers. He attached a photo with the adult actress he is currently dating, Misha Montana. There’s no indication when the photo was taken, but whether the 36-year-old is currently in an inpatient treatment program isn’t common.

I’ve been working on myself a lot lately and saying no and setting boundaries for the first time and some people aren’t happy about it, but I couldn’t be healthier or happier. Thanks for all the support pic.twitter.com/2DC2zBskup

In 2020, Riddle admitted to cheating on his wife when Candy Cartwright accused him of sexually assaulting her while they were in a consensual relationship, a charge Riddle denied. The lawsuits filed by Cartwright against him, WWE and others for the alleged assault were ultimately dropped. Riddle and his ex officially divorced earlier this year. WWE referenced Riddles’ actual personal life issues in the storyline at least twice during this time.

Since announcing his kayfabe injury, WWE has not commented on Riddles’ situation.
