ExcelsiorJAMMU Correspondent, 21 Dec: The Government has appointed an Investigations Officer (OI) to investigate allegations made against suspended Engineer Madan Gopal (then Assistant Engineer I/c REW Udhampur). “Sanction is hereby granted on the appointment of Kishore Kumar, I/c Superintending Engineer, PW(R&B) Circle Udhampur Reasi as Investigator to investigate the allegations made against Madan Gopal, then Assistant I/ c REW Udhampur, currently suspended under Order Number 290-DRD of 2022 dated 03-08-2022, and repatriated to PW (R&B) Department by Rural Development and PR Department empty OM Number: RDD-REW/20/2022 (CC: 252368),” said an order issued by Shailendra Kumar, Principal Secretary, PW (R&B). Pursuant to the order, the investigator must submit his report/findings to the administrative department along with a recommendation within 15 “Any transfer from this position does not exclude the investigator,” he added.
