WEST WEBER, Utah, Dec. 26, 2022 (Gephardt Daily) — Crews from the Weber Fire District, Roy City Fire and Weber County Sheriff’s Office responded to a house fire early Saturday in West Weber.
Firefighters were dispatched around 4 a.m. to the 4600 West area.
“Upon arrival, crews found smoke and flames coming out of the attic,” a statement from the Weber Fire District said. “Crews had a quick knockdown to get the shot under control and managed to remove and retain most of the contents of the house.
“Initial investigation determined that old wiring was the cause, with approximately $300,000 in damage. All occupants were able to safely evacuate the home with no reported human or animal injuries.
