At least one person believes in Russell Wilson right now.

Denver Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy came to the defense of his quarterback on Thursday after Wilson was attacked by critics over his performance and “attitude” following the dismissal of the head coach Nathaniel Hackett.

“I will not continue to watch these misrepresentations about my man boii russ, as a teammate who sees this man’s elite work ethic is second to none,” Jeudy, 23, wrote on Twitter. “He got a job because he dedicated his life to this game. I’ve never had a teammate that motivates me more than Russ.

Jeudy, whose Broncos took 15th place overall in the 2020 draft, continued to express his displeasure with Wilson’s story, tweeting, “I’m just tired of the media trying to portray the amount this isn’t. is not the case. I cheated on the whole world” and “If you don’t know someone personally, don’t talk about them.

The sports world rose up over the disastrous season the Broncos staged in 2022. Discontent boiled over on Tuesday when Shannon Sharpe lashed out on FS1’s ‘Undisputed’ over Wilson’s supposed VIP treatment in the Broncos facilities.

I don’t know who will be the head coach, but the first thing you do [is say], Russell Wilson, I’m locking this office. You will no longer have an office. All those parking spaces, you get the stadium, they’re gone too because you get in front of the team,” Sharpe said on the show. “I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again, and I stand by it: You ticked off a lot of people with your attitude, bro. You can come here and talk about how a team was and I’m good with my teammates, but deep down inside they’re bubbling, and I’m going to leave it at that.

The Broncos are currently 4-11 and would hold the No. 3 draft pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, but they traded him to the Seattle Seahawks in Wilson’s trade. However, despite this season’s troubles, it looks like Broncos Country is either riding or dying.
