In a follow-up tweet, Fulani said she did not want to reveal the full identity of the person involved.
Thank you all for their support. It is not our wish to reveal the person involved, it is the system that needs to be overhauled. Yes, the person was offensive, but there’s no point in naming them and shame, it would make us just as bad. We prefer this to be handled with kindness

“No, but where are you really from, where are your people from?” Fulani said he was asked, saying a follow-up question was asked: “Oh, I see I’m going to have a hard time getting you to say where you’re from. When did you first come here?
According to The Telegraph, Fulani said she was “stunned into temporary silence” and found “such a struggle to stay in the space in which (she was) raped”.
