A new Rasmussen poll released Jan. 2 found nearly half of Americans believe COVID vaccines could be the cause of many unexplained deaths, and more than a quarter of Americans say they know someone who they believe them, is among the victims of the blows.

The poll, described in a Rasmussen Reports article titled “‘Death Suddenly?’ More than 1 in 4 think someone they know has died from Covid-19 vaccines,” 1,000 adults surveyed in late December.

COVID Vaccine Survey Rasmussen Reports

This follows an earlier poll, the results of which were released in early December, which found that 7% of vaccinated people believe they experienced “major side effects” from the vaccine, which translates to 12 million people across the states. -United.

The latest poll revealed differences in how Democrats and Republicans view vaccines. While more Democrats than Republicans are vaccinated (85% vs. 63%), 33% of Democratic respondents said they knew someone they suspected had died from the vaccine, compared to 26% of Republicans and unaffiliated respondents. According to Rasmussen, this indicates that the poll results are valid, because those who have been vaccinated are less likely to want to acknowledge an injury from the vaccine and yet Democrats still acknowledge being at risk of a higher death rate.

Furthermore, the survey results suggest that injuries from the vaccine may disproportionately affect young people. 35% of adults under 40 said they thought someone they knew personally might have died from vaccine side effects, compared with 28% of people aged 40-64 and 14% of seniors .
