DOZENS OF STATES SEE NEW ABORTION AND MINIMUM WAGE LAWS TAKE EFFECT

Twitter CEO Elon Musk, who reinstated the former president on the platform in November, agreed. “Mostly Accurate [to be honest]’, Musk replied to a screenshot of Trump’s social media post.

PRO-CHOICE ACTIVISTS CLAIM ABORTION BANS VIOLATE THEIR RELIGIOUS FREEDOM IN NEW LAWSUITS
“The decade-tested approach to winning on abortion in federal races is to clearly state the ambitious consensus pro-life position and contrast it with the extreme view of Democratic opponents. We look forward to to hear that position fully articulated by Mr. Trump and all of the presidential candidates,” an SBA listing rep shared with Fox News Digital.
The “deep mid-term lesson” the group said national candidates should take away going forward was “those who take the ostrich strategy on abortion lose”.
Lila Rose, founder of Live Action, called Trump “out of line.”
“Trump is way out of line here on life. He doesn’t know where his potential base is – as many have thought in the past. This kind of nonsense will be a losing political strategy for him,” she said. written. on Twitter.

Hawkins argued that the candidates who were most vocal about their pro-life stances did well midterm.
“This November, leaders like Governor Ron DeSantis, Sen. Ted Budd and Sen. Marco Rubio, who have spoken proudly of their pro-life beliefs, won landslide victories,” she said.
Yet those who have flip-flopped or remained silent on the issue of abortion have failed, she said.
“Trump-backed politicians like Dr. Mehmet Oz and Blake Masters struggled to clearly define their beliefs” and “failed to win votes,” she wrote.
In other tweets, Hawkins claimed that “virtually every state lawmaker” who championed “pro-life bills, from chemical abortion pill regulations to heartbeat legislation,” had been re-elected.
Pro-choice organizations also criticized Trump’s statement.
“Donald Trump’s sad attempt to pivot on abortion rights after voters resoundingly rejected the extreme anti-abortion agenda he championed as president and prioritized when nominating three justices Supreme Court anti-choice is comical,” Jenny Lawson, executive director of Planned Parenthood Votes, wrote to Fox News Digital.
“As we saw mid-term, anti-abortion politicians may try to run away from their extreme views, but they can’t hide from the truth or their record. We’re only beginning to see the devastating consequences on public health spurred by the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, which is why abortion will again be a priority for voters in 2024 and for years to come,” she predicted.
