Which side are you on?
If you’re in a long-term relationship, you already know that there are many things that can cause you and your loved one to argue. Some say the longer you stay together, the more things you will have to fight for! If you’ve ever been in a ‘lovers’ feud’ you know that sometimes you go to extreme lengths to win the argument…LOL!! Some couples even ask their favorite morning radio show and their fans to help them decide who is to blame.
Lost in the laundry
Shelly messaged us earlier this week explaining the recent row she and her husband have been dealing with. Shelly hopes we can help end it. Here is what she sent us,
“Last week, my husband took my car to work with him fixing a few little things that were lying around. When he got home, he threw his work pants in the hamper with all the other dirty clothes. showered and continued with her night. At some point that night I grabbed the basket and threw the clothes in the washer. When they were done I put them in the dryer and went back up to cook us dinner. When I came back down shortly after, I heard a “clank-clank, clank-clank” coming from the dryer, so I opened the door and started rummaging through the damp clothes to find my car key fob!!! After I found it I went outside to try and unlock my car to make sure it still worked. No DEAD!! My $300 key fob is totally FRIED! then (not so calmly) asked my husband why he didn’t hang it up on the key ring és when he entered the door in his place! He then asks me (not so calmly) why I didn’t check the pockets of his pants before throwing them in the wash! I say because use your pants in the hamper with dirty clothes that are READY to wash and if you put clothes in the hamper it means they are ready to go! But no, he insists that the person who throws the clothes in the washer is the one who has to check that there is nothing in the pockets. But I – being his wife, not his mother – don’t think I need to monitor his laundry habits, so it’s not my fault! Right? Whose fault are you guys?”

Booooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo I lean on side of Shelly. I think the person carrying the clothes is the responsible person to empty their pockets before they put the clothes in the hamper or laundry basket, if they don’t and something gets destroyed or lost in the laundry, they are to blame. My opinion might have something to do with the fact that when I was younger and my mom did my laundry she always told me that if I left money in my pocket and she found it in the dryer , it was his… LOL!
