Prince Harry interview 60 minutes
Netflix’s Harry & Meghan docuseries was just the start of Prince Harry’s royal family claims, as he dropped some truly shocking bombshells in his 60 Minute interview with Anderson Cooper set to air on CBS this Sunday, just two days before the release of his tell-all memoir Spare on January 10.

Prince Harry drops bombshells on the Royal Family in 60 Minutes interview
One of the most shocking things the 38-year-old father-of-two said in the trailer for his first US TV interview to promote Spare was in reference to the royals failing to respond to false stories endlessly about him and his wife. Meghan Markle, 41, tells Cooper that essentially silence is betrayal.
In a trailer released by CBS, the Duke of Sussex says he wanted to keep his and Meghan’s life as private as possible, like the rest of the Royal Family, but was actually forced to go public and tell his own version of the story because of the endless negative stories that have been leaked about him and his wife. Every time I tried to do it privately, there were briefings, leaks and stories against me and my wife, he told Cooper. You know, the family motto is Never Complain, Never Explain, but that’s just a motto, he continued, before suggesting that many stories about him and Meghan actually came from the royal family itself! Wow!
At the bottom of a story, they’ll say they’ve contacted Buckingham Palace for comment. But the whole story is being commented on by Buckingham Palace, Prince Harry said. When it’s been said for the past six years, we can’t issue a statement to protect you. But you do it for other family members. It becomes there becomes a point where silence is betrayal.
Another very short teaser clip released by CBS shows Cooper asking the Duke of Sussex if he and the Duchess of Sussex are likely to return to senior royal life in the future and he couldn’t have said no fast enough!

Fan reactions to 60 Minute teasers
The teasers haven’t been out for a long time, but social media is already exploding with reactions and there are two very different opinions! I hope he names names because the Royal Family is trash, one Twitter user wrote in the comment to one of the 60 Minutes teasers on the social media platform. They expected Harry to allow his wife to be used as a scapegoat as he had been used, another wrote. I gained more respect for him by standing up against racism, another commented. So brave of him to speak out. Its purpose is to try to prevent history from repeating itself. The treatment Meghan is undergoing is exactly what happened to her mother, said another.
Many other Twitter users weren’t thrilled with Prince Harry’s interview! “Oh Harry. PLEASE go. Live your life. Be happy. Stop molesting your family, stop molesting us and stop gaslighting,” wrote one Twitter user who doesn’t appear to be a fan of the Sussex. “Oh yet another interview, for money I dare say, and yet he wants the media to crush! You really couldn’t make it up,” joked another. “Spreading dirty laundry and embarrassing your family is a weird way of trying to get back into your father’s and brother’s good graces. Since his wife only talks to one of many family members, the Spare should rely on someone else for family reconciliation advice,” another criticized.
Prince Harry’s 60-minute interview with Anderson Cooper airs on CBS Sunday, January 8. His explosive memoir Spare will be published on January 10.
