Arsenal are struggling to complete the transfer of Mykhailo Mudryk and now it looks like Chelsea will deflect a blow for him.
The striker has been flirting with the idea of a move to London for much of the past few months, having spoken and liked the posts while chatting.
However, it looks like the move won’t happen this month as offers from Arsenal continue to fall below the valuation Shakhtar Donetsk have given the youngster.
Their manager, Carlo Nicolini, has now revealed they value him in the same class as Manchester United’s Antony, suggesting Arsenal must pay as much as United paid for the Brazilian to sign him.
He told Calcio Napoli24:
Since we don’t need transfers, we said in due time that we rate the player stronger than some other profiles, like Antony. This is the reference.

Mudryk is a great player and wants to move to Arsenal which should make it easy for us to sign him.
However, Shakhtar know they have a top player on their hands and Chelsea’s interest is prompting them to demand a huge transfer fee.
If we want to buy him, we have to be ready to spend the money to add him to our squad like United did for Antony, who hasn’t been impressive.
