Khloe Kardashian Responds to Allegations of Using Diabetes Drugs to Lose Weight

Khloe Kardashian applauds accusations about her weight loss.

After sharing photos from her Sorbet cover shoot on Instagram, many took to the comments to accuse the 38-year-old reality star of using the diabetes drug Ozempic to lose weight.

For those unfamiliar, Ozempic is a prescription drug used to help people with type 2 diabetes manage their blood sugar.

In her comments on Instagram, one user wrote: “The fact that she uses diabetics [sic] weight loss drugs are disturbing.

Khloe then responded by applauding the “assumptions.”

Let’s not discredit my years of work,” Khloe wrote. “I get up 5 days a week at 6am to work out. Please stop with your assumptions. I guess the new year always means mean people.

Rumors that the Kardashians were using Ozempic began circulating after comedian Heather McDonald noted that the drug had become popular for weight loss in Hollywood.

“I don’t endorse this at all, but people are talking about it,” Heather said on her Juicy Scoop podcast late last year. “A lot of people wonder, ‘What are the Kardashians using where they had such rapid weight loss and dropped it so quickly and their bodies completely transformed?’ Lots of people were talking about it and it was called Ozempic.

Khloe also recently fired back at accusations that she had “changed” her face.
