It was the ultimate showdown on the virtual golf course: Paige Spiranac, the gorgeous golfer known for her impressive swing and killer outfits, took on PGA Tour winner Max Homa. But things didn’t quite go to plan for Spiranac when she tried to fire a quick one on Homa by sneaking into a mulligan. Let’s see what led to the hilarious exchange of tweets between the two.

Paige Spiranac mulligans Max Homa

You know what it’s like when two friends relax and play together, they pull each other’s legs over every tiny thing. That’s exactly what Max did when an embarrassed Paige tried to mulligan him. If you’re wondering what a mulligan is, it’s basically a passing shot that’s sometimes allowed in friendly matches but prohibited in professional golf. Obviously, Spiranac was hoping to take advantage of the looser rules in their friendly with Homa.

Spiranac realized it was a bad move as soon as she hit him. With the firm intention of pulling his leg, Max said: Oh no! It’s really good Oh no! He hit a tree! Taking advantage of the situation, Spiranac says to Max, You know what? Where is the mulligan then! Spiranac was left pouting on the virtual tee box, hoping her attempt to break the rules would succeed. The two couldn’t help but laugh at how poor the shooting was.

Fun interaction between Paige and Max

Max Homa shared video of the incident with the world on Twitter last year to commemorate the day. Spiranac bullied Max in the comments section of Homas’ tweet about the incident. Let’s not forget your mulligan right before that. But being witty himself, Homa insisted he had no recollection of such a thing. I don’t remember that ever happening, he said.

Well, the question remains unanswered. Did Max take a mulligan? Well, Spiranac will have to offer its video to be taken into action. But until then, how about calling this round a draw and moving on to the next, okay? After all, they’re just two friends pulling each other’s legs.
