Pasco’s father demands an apology after the director called his boss to complain | January 18

Neither the director nor the father acted appropriately. The father had no children in school and did not belong to it. I believe the principal was petty in complaining to the boss about the intruders, taking a hit on his livelihood. This act shows the state of political wickedness today. More wisely, I think the principal should have called security and asked that the disruptive father be removed.

It seems to me that PolitiFact left out a few facts:

1. The first batch of President Joe Bidens documents was discovered on November 2, 2022, days before the midterm elections, and the discovery was kept secret for two months.

2. At a press conference, his spokeswoman said the discovery process was over. But additional documents were discovered the following day.

I think I know why, but it’s still worth asking: Why didn’t the FBI get involved in a search of his private office and home?

Tampa Bay officials release plan to address climate change | January 17

I am pleased that the Tampa Bay Regional Planning Council has developed a plan to strengthen the area against extreme weather conditions. With climate change causing bigger and stronger hurricanes, we need to pull ourselves together as soon as possible. Oh wait, how long before Florida’s global warming denial governor and his cronies in the Legislature enact a law prohibiting local governments from enacting any or all of the plan? Someone in special session?
