Ohio State basketball suffered its fifth straight loss Wednesday night at Nebraska, 63-60. Buckeyes coach Chris Holtmann received a lot of criticism as Ohio State shot just 35.7% from the field.
“It was obviously another tough game,” Holtmann said in his post-game press conference. “Give Nebraska credit for getting the win here. It was a tough game that once again ended up on the edge. We missed a lot of kinda clean looks. They have good defense, so give it a shot. their credit. We should have converted on a few missed lay-ups. Other than that, I don’t know if our guys were too frustrated. We just missed a few lay-ups.
Ohio State rookie Brice Sensabaugh led all scorers with 18 points and notched his third straight double-double with 10 rebounds, but fouled out near the end of regulation. Ohio State wasn’t able to get him on the floor late in the game, which obviously stung.
