Puri, Jan 22: Ollywood playback singer Humane Sagar Shreya Mishra brought new allegations against her husband on Sunday and said she had been subjected to unbearable torture.
Holding a press conference in Puri, Shriya said, “The torture on me started after my daughter was born and he has no attachment with the baby. I was beaten and kept mum for the family reputation.
“He wouldn’t allow me to wear sindoor,” she added.
Recounting his ordeal to the media, the singer’s wife said that Humane Sagar consumes an excessive amount of alcohol, as a result of which his shoots have been canceled several times in the past. Shreya said she was not allowed to do puja and put vermilion on her forehead.
She further alleged that a third party was disrupting her married life and urged the media to find out.
“My family also offered a compromise. No calls have been received from him yet. I want to come back to her if I get married status. “Earlier he beat me and apologized for the same. He once linked up to kill me in September last year which was witnessed by our housekeeper Santosh,” a- she asserted.
She added: “I want him to be mentally and physically healthy, she has to respect me and I’m looking forward to January 30.”
The couple currently remain separated over their marital dispute.
