The Princess Tiana retheme is highly controversial among Disney Parks fans, but widely considered long overdue due to its connection to the widely banned and problematic Song of the South (1946). Some hope the change will establish a trend to remove inappropriate and racist symbols from Disney parks and movies, like Native Americans on Peter Pans Flight.

Commenters agreed that the shirt was odd and outdated. Most likely they are trying to flush out inventory, said u/UnderCoverDoughnuts.

I could have sworn I saw this years ago, like maybe the late 90s or early 2000s. I think this is just part of the nostalgia collection that Disney brought back , as they had other vintage items for the 50th when I visited, said u/Technical_Ad_7119.
What do you think of this Walt Disney World Resort t-shirt?
