It’s finally happened: The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 3 reunion is here, and the mess just got messier.

On January 23, two days before the first part of the highly anticipated reunion, RHOLSC newcomer Angie Katsanevas was caught socializing with a man wearing White Lives Matter hate clothing. She then shared a statement on her Instagram Story the next day, only to be called out a few minutes later by co-star (and criminal) Jen Shah.

Here is how events unfolded.

Angie Katsanevas is slammed for posing with a man wearing a White Lives Matter t-shirt.

On January 23, the popular Twitter account @housewifegifs shared two photos of RHOSLC star Angie Katsanevas teaming up with a white man wearing an offensive White Lives Matter shirt.

Angie K is really here parading her White Lives Matter friends without any shame. the tweet read.

The following night, Angie released a statement addressing the controversy via her Instagram Story.

I had no knowledge of the message on the back of the shirt worn by the man I posed with for a photo, Angie wrote.

The original photo was taken from the front. I do not endorse or support this post. If I had known that the disturbing message was on his back, I would never have agreed to take a picture with him. I reject racism in all its forms. I have always stood for diversity and inclusion.

Jen Shah has called out former friend Angie K. for racism.

After Angie shared her statement on Instagram, Jen Shah immediately uploaded a response to her own story, posting only text reading Black Lives Matter, followed by the hashtag #rhoslc and a snowflake emoji. A fan page called Reality Witch reposted it alongside Angie’s statement and called out Jen for continuing to weaponize racism.

Angie then reposted the Reality Witchs Instagram Story.

Will Angie K. be fired from RHOSLC?

After Angie reposted the Reality Witchs Instagram Story, Jen added more to her original story, speaking directly to Bravo and insinuating that they should fire Angie. GIRLS COLORS SHOW, she writes in all caps. HOW DID YOU GO TO ACT @BRAVOTV?

While Bravo has yet to reveal whether they’ll fire RHOSLC’s Angie K., viewers blame fan-favorite Lisa Barlow for bringing her on in the first place.

After the Jennie Nguyen racism scandal in January 2022, people noted that Lisa has now enlisted not one but two racist women to star on the show.

When addressing the situation with Angie, Lisa tweeted that she was not responsible for her friends’ actions.

This girl [and] ONLY this girl is the one I am responsible for, Lisa wrote. I work extremely hard, have integrity in what I do, and raise boys who know our family values. I can only speak for and about me. I haven’t slept in five days so see you tomorrow.

However, fans have pointed out that friendships strongly reflect their own morals and values.

It’s clear that #RHOSLC is filled with racist women. J*nnie was just the tip of the iceberg. Angie K is a piece of trash and her girlfriend Lisa got them both into this. I say cancel the whole thing at this point, another Twitter user wrote.

New episodes of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City air Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo. You can also stream new episodes the next day on Peacock.
