Footage of arsonists destroying a warehouse in Clayton South in a targeted attack has been released

Three men drove to the Meriton Place complex in a blue Volkswagen Golf around 10 p.m. on January 26, police said.

Two of the group members broke down the front door of Future Fulfillment’s warehouse and poured accelerant inside while the third person poured fuel outside and set it on fire.

Senior Detective Sergeant Grant Lewis said on Friday that one of the three men may have been injured in the attack.

There is a possible injury to a man because he started the fire, and he may have caught fire, Lewis said.

Officers were investigating whether a burnt person sought medical attention.

He said the brazen and risky attack appeared targeted, but the motive was unclear.

They’re clearly motivated, and they’re clearly angry and aggressive, and they had a point to prove, he said.

Police released CCTV footage of the incident.

Lewis said the footage was clear and authorities had an accurate description of the car involved.

The factory housed a range of stocks from online businesses, including health and beauty products, baby brands, electronics, clothing, shoes and jewelry.

It’s heartbreaking because even though it affects us, it’s really these small businesses that we serve that are really here, Hunter said.

One of the offenders appeared to be wearing black pants, a black t-shirt, black shoes, and a black beanie with a headlamp.

Another was also dressed all in black and had a headlamp.

The third appeared to be wearing black pants, a long white t-shirt, a cream-colored hoodie, and white shoes.
