I’ll file it ‘where I keep my missing f—s’

‘Harry Potter’ author JK Rowling admitted she seemed to give no ‘fs’ to people insisting she had lost their respect over her comments on women’s rights.

Rowling went viral the previous week for an attack on attempts to redefine what a woman is based on appeasement of transgender women, which she called “genuine misogyny”.

The tweet drew strong reactions from transgender activists as well as left-leaning social media users who claimed to be former fans of her books. While they insisted she had lost fans’ respect for comments like these, Rowling admitted on Saturday that she didn’t care.

“Deeply amused by those who tell me I have lost their admiration because of the disrespect I show violent and deceitful rapists. I will carefully store your lost admiration in the box where I keep my missing fs,” Rowling tweeted .

This received immense support from other Twitter users, applauding him for hitting back at the harsh criticism.

Jevon OA Williams, National Committee Member for the Virgin Islands, wrote: “This woman’s ability to string together words that touch the very soul of the person receiving the insult is to be commended. As a former UK subject, I normally don’t approve of this behavior, but for @jk_rowling, the exception is still granted. To pursue!”

“But you haven’t lost the respect of those of us who are much smarter than the bunch of losers who are downright stupid, you keep saying what you say, maybe people will actually understand what you’re saying. ‘they seem so far not having,’ talk radio personality James Whale clapped back.

“I like it,” tweeted American singer Parker McCollum.

Conservative American editor Rod Dreher agreed, “I LOVE IT!”

“In a harsh and punishing world, @jk_rowling remains a haven of kindness and bravery,” wrote author Annika Rothstein.

It was the latest in a string of tweets Rowling has posted in recent years advocating for women’s rights in women-only spaces and sports in the face of growing transgender activism. These comments have led many on the left to label the author a “trans-exclusive radical feminist,” or TERF.

The controversy grew to the point where ‘Star Wars’ actor Mark Hamill came under fire for liking a tweet from Rowlings last weekend.

The tweet in question was Rowling responding to India Willoughby, the UK’s first “transgender newsreader”, who wrote “I’m more of a woman than JK Rowling will ever be”. Rowling replied, “Citation needed.”

Hamill was then forced to defend his fellow human beings, writing: “What I liked about this exchange was that someone spoke their truth to power. Twitter is unfortunately not a place for nuance. It is imperative that I say it very clearly: I support human rights for ALL, regardless of their gender identity, PERIOD. »
