LeBron James has recently been on fire with the future Hall of Famer almost single-handedly trying to salvage a playoff spot for the Los Angles Lakers.
In their last game against the New York Knicks, the Lakers prevailed in overtime beating their East Coast rivals 129-123, with James leading the Lakers in scoring after dropping 28 points.
LeBron impressed, but…
Additionally, the former Cleveland Cavaliers star added 11 more rebounds and 10 assists, the latter of which also sees him pass Steve Nash in the all-time assists chart, with James now fourth overall.
Despite the standout performance, Fox presenter Skip Bayless found a way to criticize James describing his performance as quiet.
“I really thought LeBron would have more than one mind-blowing game tonight on this season’s only visit to the mecca of basketball,” Bayless wrote in a Twitter post.
“Overall, a pretty quiet performance by its recent standards. But hey, thanks to Russ and Schroder in overtime, the Lakers won.”
Despite their victory, the Lakers currently have a losing record of 24-28. The California franchise finds itself 13th in the Western Conference five places below the final position of the playoffs.
