When the “Raw is XXX” special edition of “WWE Raw” wrapped up last week, one of the main talking points was the Bella Twins’ reaction to the show. Brie and Nikki Bella lamented the promotion, or lack thereof, of the women’s division during the broadcast, even going so far as to say WWE avoided doing so due to the absence of former WWE stars Mercedes Mone. (fka Sasha Banks) and Saraya (fka Paige). The Bellas later expanded on their criticism during a talk show appearance.

Since the Bellas’ remarks, there had been no comment from anyone in the WWE women’s locker room regarding their criticisms until now, that is. In an interview with Wrestling Inc. Editor Nick Hausman, WWE star Dana Brooke responded to the Bellas’ criticism, putting the work of current WWE women while respecting Brie and Nikki.

“The Bella Twins came here,” Brooke said. “They dug their way. They dug their way. I respect them wholeheartedly, but us women do our thing every time we’re given the chance, and we kill it, and we get it out of the way. stadium with a smile on our face, and that’s how the professionals do it.”

Now nearly nine years into her WWE career, Brooke emerged during a time when the Bellas were the top stars in the women’s division. However, Brooke has never faced Brie or Nikki in single action, tag or women’s multi action, although all three competed in the 2018 and 2022 editions of the Women’s Royal Rumble match.
