Dallas Mavericks’ Kyrie Irving doesn’t seem to care about the criticism directed at him

[ad_1]

When Kyrie Irving arrived at the Dallas Mavericks during the Brooklyn Nets trade deadline, his new team was 29-26 and ranked fifth in the Western Conference. Last week, they said goodbye to a playoff berth despite Irving and Luka Doncic. In many ways, the stars who left the Mavs for other teams have been sorely missed by the entire franchise. Irving is a fantastic offensive player, but lacks the defensive prowess other players tend to have. But also, Kyrie Irving has increasingly behaved more disinterested in what people say about him. The new star of the Dallas Mavericks has a similar attitude to Kevin Durant.

Kyrie Irving sends a new dis to all his detractors

Kyrie hasn’t delivered terrible numbers with the Mavericks, but he certainly hasn’t helped them win games since his arrival. Today they are currently with a 38-43 record which is not even good enough to make the 9th seed in the NBA. The season is over and all fingers are already starting to point to the biggest stars. On the one hand, Luka Doncic is criticized but he is loved within the Dallas Mavericks fan base. Kyrie is a whole different story as he is still considered an underdog. But more importantly, people believe he would be the one to lead the team to the Playoffs for the second season in a row. Obviously that didn’t happen.

Following criticism from everywhere, Kyrie Irving decided to post another of his tweets. This time, he posted an image of a famous Pokemon and a quote that read, “Protect your peace at all times. When you realize you can’t and don’t have to please everyone and stop burden yourself with absurd expectations and finally feel at peace.” Clearly pointing out criticism even coming from one of his teammate’s family members. Everyone wants to know how Kyrie Irving couldn’t help the Mavericks qualify for the playoffs when they placed fifth before he arrived. Even if he wants to avoid any responsibility, it seems inevitable at this point.
