The club released a statement on their official Facebook page on Wednesday, distancing themselves from the social media post of their technical director.

Debbah had accused LISCR and Watanga of match fixing in a post on her Facebook page on April 24. Although he deleted the post, it was captured by FrontPage Africa.

The former Lone Star manager claimed the two clubs were owned by the Emperor and LFA deputy chairman, Deputy Sports Minister G. Andy Quamie, but he offered no evidence to support his claims. assertions.

The Liberia Football Association (LFA) invited Debbah on May 2 to a conference on a recent social media post.

The LFA said in the communication that Debbah’s statement, which was released without proper investigation, contained insinuations which they considered defamatory.

He confirmed his summons by the LFA on his official Facebook page and described the communication as a joke.

According to him, his message was posted with specific reference to the Orange Cup match between LISCR and Gardnersville FC, for which LISCR won on penalties after the match after regulation time ended in a stalemate.

Debbah claimed Gardnersville FC were denied two justifiable penalties by the game’s central referee, who was then suspended for a few weeks after the investigation.

He added that the match was identified as a case study by the CAF instructors who ran the just completed CAF B license course at SKD.

Debbah expressed concern about the state of the national league and the decadence of immorality that has taken over, saying that for the national team to be competitive, the national league must be up to snuff.

But the club, in their statement, said they regard Debbah as their technical director, but the post was made squarely in her name and not the name of the club.

For the record, we have our official social media where information about the club is posted, the club statement reads.
