Kendra Randle responds to Kenyon Martins’ criticism of her husband’s kiss

It took a few days, but Kendra Randle took to Twitter on Saturday to let Kenyon Martin know he was off the mark criticizing husband Julius Randle for kissing her after the Knicks Game 5 win over the Heat Wednesday evening at the Garden.

Slow news day, I guess, Kendra tweeted, along with some laughing emojis. We both grew up in single parent homes. We have never seen our fathers respect our mothers. I’m so grateful that my kids are growing up watching their dad be the best dad and husband.

Kendra also tweeted that her husband wouldn’t have been seemingly affectionate if the Knicks had lost.

By the way, this game was after a win, she added. He would never be in the mood to kiss or even talk after a loss lol. But let’s talk about the real issues. Not a loving family husband and father.

During an appearance on former NBA star Gilbert Arenas’ Gils Arena show, Martin said he was upset to see Randle kiss Kendra after the Knicks win.

We just finished playing a hard-fought game in a playoff series, and the first thing you do is go kiss your wife! says Martin, who is once divorced. Is that the first thing you do?! Where is your mind? ! I mean, that was the very first thing he did, man, when the game ended.

Martin said he was watching the game with Shakira, his second wife, when he saw Randles publicly showing affection.

I’m sitting here watching the game with my wife, he said. I told him, I love you to death, but it’s not possible right now, I mean I’m going to be with my guys because we just finished winning and I don’t even think about you.

Randle and Kendra tied the knot in 2016 after meeting at the University of Kentucky in 2013. The couple share two sons, Kyden, 6, and Jayce, 1.
