A recent newspaper editorial claimed that the three Trumbull County commissioners are part of “political absurdity” and are “acting childishly.”

Really?

Please consider the source of the problem. Niki Frenchko has shown over the past two and a half years that she cannot cooperate or communicate with anyone in the Commissioners office, including her fellow Commissioners.

Commissioners Denny Malloy, Republican, and Mauro Cantalamessa, Democrat, work together professionally. They are conscientious, trustworthy, hardworking and ethical. In contrast, Frenchko intentionally created chaos as commissioner. She refuses to work with the other two commissioners, she attends the meetings without any preparation and lies that she does not receive the information that was available to the three commissioners. Frenchko is not attending Tuesday workshops and has missed scheduled commissioners’ meetings during his tenure.

Frenchko is regularly sued for her abusive and hostile behavior towards the office and staff and others who have filed grievances and legal actions against her.

Frenchko even inappropriately posted medical information about an employee on social media. Frenchko belittled Commissioner Malloy by pouring perfume on his seat and personally disparaging him. She insulted Commissioner Cantalamessa’s Italian heritage, making false accusations about his family ties to the Mafia. She made the clerk cry at a public meeting and disrupted most weekly meetings and interrupted many people when talking. Only Frenchko could create enough of a mess in the commissioners’ office that employees were sent home early because they feared for their safety.

Frenchko is the real kid here. She could have positioned her radiator so that it wouldn’t blow on the other occupants of the room. Instead, she destroyed government property three times, once swinging a gavel wildly as a public meeting was about to begin. This journal should be courageous, honest, precise and direct, and report the real problem. His name is Niki Frenchko.
