Lil Uzi Vert is facing social media criticism for his latest editorial shoot.

As the cover star of 032c magazine’s summer issue, the Philadelphia rapper appears to have a bloody nose and displays an upside-down cross on his forehead. On Instagram, the photo received backlash from users who claim the “Neon Guts” singer has a deeper agenda.

“Yah likes to slap us with this satanic symbolism,” one user wrote.

“Uzi must act satanic for the glory it’s such a sad gang boy lmaoooo came out horrible,” another added.

This is not the first time he has been accused of worshiping Satan. Both Tony Yayo and Summer Walker shared opposing views on Lil Uzi’s “I Make A City Girl Believe In Satan” lyrics.

The “Just Wanna Rock” singer explained her words aren’t literal, saying, “Not really Satan, but just basically, I make a girl do whatever I say.”

They went on to explain, “I come from a real religious home, but I like to find [and] live my life and be, like, i guess [as] ‘an adult’, I say whatever I mean. Even if I offend people, I don’t want to offend people, but if they don’t like it, they have the option to turn it off.

Fans of the alternative hip-hop artist are waiting for the highly anticipated Pink Tape. The 27-year-old took the sober route while creating the project which was first teased in July 2021.

“The songs are great. But they want to make sure it’s good and not rush. We all know you’re up for it, but we want to make sure it’s a classic and not just a bunch of random songs!” explained Lyle Leduff, one of Uzi’s longtime producers in a Wednesday, May 31 update.

“He logs 5 a day for the most part. Bruh is always getting better and better. It’s hard to squeeze more than 1500 songs into an album.
