Racist Kick streamer gets punched in Japan after locals get fed up

A streamer on Kick by the name of JohnnySomali was punched by a local in Japan after his racist outbursts resulted in a violent outcome.

IRL streams are responsible for some of the most chaotic content on the internet. After all, it’s hard to control how many foreigners one can meet while streaming a night on the town or sharing one’s trips abroad with a live audience.

Thus, many IRL streamers have encountered uncomfortable and even dangerous situations that occur in real time. For example, one streamer was chased by a man threatening to kill him during a broadcast at a local park, and many others faced racist attacks from passersby while on the move.

However, one such IRL streamer bombarded foreigners with racist remarks for some time during his stay in Japan and an angry local decided to confront him.

Kick streamer JohnnySomali gained a negative reputation for himself after clips surfaced of the streamer making racist remarks towards Japanese locals while riding a train.

In addition to breaking the tag by being loud on public transport, his mentions of Hiroshima and Nagaski left viewers speechless, but he was soon confronted by a good Samaritan who put an end to his behavior in a shocking moment that went viral.

Sadly, that didn’t seem to put a stop to his behavior, as JohnnySomali continued to broadcast his travels to Japan while making racist remarks in public.

At the end of May, however, the streamer was streaming while talking to his cat on the street when he was punched in the face by a local just off camera.

What the fuck is this? the streamer exclaimed. Yo, relax. Relax, relax. It’s nothing, there’s no problem.

The man who punched him can be heard in the background, apparently making mention of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, which the streamer has joked about on his previous broadcasts. Someone in the background then also makes racist remarks towards the streamer, using a racial slur.

The streamer uploaded other confrontations with locals on his YouTube channel, claiming he was even harangued by Yakuza in a video.

JohnnySomali is just the latest content creator to spark outrage online after TikTok prankster Mizzy sparked massive backlash and was even arrested for his pranks, like entering strangers’ houses and even run away with an elderly woman’s dog.
