What was supposed to be a routine flight turned into an outing, but somehow, even more heartbreaking. Watch this clip and see for yourself.

After the match, Mookie Betts took full responsibility for the inexplicable blunder, according to The Athletic. The Dodgers star outfielder had a chance to capitalize on several Giants mistakes, but instead made his own mistake.
Bad timing. We didn’t play big things, we didn’t really feel our way. Betts said, “We were kind of kicked when we were down.” (I) take full ownership. I was just trying to make another room and I screwed up,
After a pop-up fly late in the 11th, Betts went to first base expecting to be caught off guard. However, the Giants third baseman missed the catch. Also, the relief pitcher strayed to first in an attempt to catch the Dodgers’ star. As a result, Betts started to run faster to try to get to third place. However, Betts didn’t realize his third-placed teammate was being held back. In order to avoid a late double play, the third runner was forced to try to reach home plate, which proved unsuccessful.
It was an unfortunate case of a player trying to profit from a bad game and failing badly. Betts teammate Miguel Rojas retired on the next bat to end the game with a loss for the Dodgers.
