We’ve seen Hilary Clinton and Bill Clinton’s daughter, Chelsea Clinton, applaud several public figures, including her ex-best friend Ivanka Trump. She called out a number of actions by former US President Donald Trump, and now she calls out a surprising Trump critic: Joe Rogan.

Earlier in June 2023, Rogan brought Democratic presidential hopeful Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to the controversial Joe Rogan Experience podcast. They discussed a plethora of topics, the most polarizing being their views on vaccines. At one point, Kennedy even claimed that vaccines could cause autism, something Dr. Peter Hotez quickly spoke out against.

This started a days-long Twitter battle between the two. In response to Hotez’s criticism, Rogan tweeted to the Dean of the National School of Tropical Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine, saying, Peter, if you claim what RFKjr is saying is misinformation, I’m offering you 100,000.00 $ to the charity of your choice if you are willing to debate it on my show with no time limit.

Hotez tweeted, Joe, you have my cell, my email, I’m always ready to talk to you.

This led to numerous tweets between them and then Chelsea got into the mix. She tweeted a Vox article about the situation, saying: Deeply troubled by online attacks on Dr @PeterHotez. In solidarity with Peter and all of our public health and medical professionals committed to providing science-based health information, especially about vaccines.

The interaction has been going on for days now, with many expecting a debate between the two (and maybe one with Chelsea added).

Another tidbit we mentioned earlier: Rogan has been a critic of Donald in the past. According to The New York Times, Rogan claimed he turned down several requests from Donald to be on his Spotify podcast.

I had the opportunity to have him more than once on my show. I said no every time, he said on the Lex Fridmans podcast. I don’t want to help her.
