Carnew Emmets GAA Club delegate James ‘Bear’ Doran told the County Wicklow GAA board meeting on Wednesday evening that the live broadcast of the Nickey Rackard Cup final at Croke Park in early June was “pathetic”.

Wicklow GAA chairman Damien Byrne said he had not seen the live broadcast of the game.

Damien Byrne told delegates County Clerk Chris OConnor would email Croke Park about it.

The GAAGO service made headlines this week following the appearance of GAA and RT representatives before the Oireachtas media committee where it was revealed that the most-watched GAAGO game has attracted around 120,000 views while ‘At the other end of the scale, some games only had viewership between 1000 and 1500.
