Prince Harry’s uncle Prince Andrew has asked his pedophile friend Jefferey Epstein to help secure $200 million in funding for an obscure oil company, according to a new report.
The Duke of York, 63, is said to have asked for help during a time when he was pictured with the financier in New York’s Central Park in December 2010, according to The Mail on Sunday.
The disgraced royal, who is the younger brother of King Charles III, insisted in his car crash interview with the BBC on meeting Epstein, who was jailed for child prostitution offenses, only to put end to their friendship.
But court documents, seen by the outlet, reveal that Epstein forwarded the request for Queen Elizabeth’s favorite son to his private banker, Jes Staley.
“On December 2, 2010, Jeffrey Epstein emailed Staley from Prince Andrew with a request the prince received from Aria Petroleum seeking a $200 million working capital line, the document says. .
He says: “Since the company is based in the United States, Prince Andrew seemed to suggest that Epstein connect them to an American bank.”
Epstein, who faced up to 45 years in prison if convicted, was found with a noose made from a bed sheet and authorities ruled the death a suicide.
Princess Beatrice and Eugenie’s father were embroiled in the scandal when Virginia Roberts Giuffre, one of Epstein’s victims, alleged that Andrew sexually assaulted her knowing she was underage and had been the victim of trafficking in the UK by Epstein and British socialite Ghislaine Maxwell.
Sarah Ferguson’s ex-husband Andrew has always vehemently denied the allegations. The Duke later reached a multi-million pound settlement with Guiffre in a civil lawsuit.
