Lacey Evans Defended For Being “Legit Marine” Despite Sgt. Slaughter Critic

Lacey Evans has undeniable star power in WWE and an indomitable spirit. That said, its booking over the past few years leaves a lot to be desired. Now it appears Lacey Evans has been championed for being a legit Marine despite criticism from Sgt Slaughters.

Lacey Evans sported a new look after her return, wearing a camouflage jacket and hat, similar to Sgt. Slaughter. This led to Slaughters’ daughter calling him out for stealing his look. This basically opened a Pandora’s box with even Sgt. Slaughtering is involved in a considerable way.

sergeant. Slaughter has previously expressed his belief that WWE should have asked his permission before allowing Lacey Evans to incorporate the Cobra Clutch into his moveset. This discussion is clearly ongoing, as Slaughter isn’t done talking about it.

He even called out Evans for selling his body despite his thing. During Sportskeeda Wrestlings The Wrestling Outlaws, Vince Russo defended Lacey Evans against Slaughters criticism as she was a legit Marine.

Brother, she (Lacey Evans) is a legit marine, isn’t she? A legitimate sailor. What is his problem (Sgt. Slaughters)? Like, I could understand if she wasn’t a legit navy but she is legit. He should put it on.
