Days after the NFL launched the Whites investigation, COs issued a statement saying they were committed to a full and fair investigation into the allegations and pledged to cooperate fully with Ms. White.
Despite that promise, Mr. Snyder and the club did not cooperate, White concluded. Mr. Snyder, for nearly a year, refused to be interviewed, and when he finally agreed to an interview, he said it would be limited to one hour.
Similarly, according to Whites’ findings, commanders refused for many months to seek out and produce critical documents needed to understand unexplained transfers involving tens of millions of dollars related to alleged shared revenue protections.
While the Club produced numerous other documents, answered some of our questions and made two requested presentations, the Club claimed that it was too cumbersome and costly to provide the specific accounting records and supporting documents for these transfers, or to provide legitimate and documented explanations for them, and that it was inappropriate for the Club to bear the burden of justifying them, the report reads. With complete information, this report may have reached additional or different conclusions. We are nevertheless satisfied that the conclusions are supported by the evidence obtained during the investigation.
