Is Prince George responsible for the rift between Harry and William?

[ad_1]

Prince Harry and William have not been on good terms in recent years, and one of the reasons for this rocky relationship could be the birth of Prince George.

In his memoir ‘Spare’, Harry admits to feeling ‘left out’ by William and Kate after George’s birth and their subsequent move from Nottingham Cottage to Kensington Palace’s flat 1A.

The move came months after George was born on July 22, 2013, with the Duke of Sussex revealing he had hoped he would still regularly visit his borsht and sister-in-law.

“It was good to get out of the old place, but it was even better to live in front of Willy and Kate. I saw myself passing by to see them all the time,” Harry wrote in ‘Spare.’

He added that he hoped to visit them and bring gifts for George, but said that rarely happened, which made him feel “left out”.

This happened despite the fact that they were “half a football pitch” from where he lived.

“I took it for granted that I would be invited to their home anytime,” Harry said.

“But days have passed and that hasn’t happened. I get it, I thought. They’re busy! Starting a family! Or maybe… three is a crowd. Maybe if I get married, things will change.”

Tension between Harry and William

In an interview with the Telegraph while promoting his book, Harry noted that William made it clear to him that “his children are not [his] responsibility”.

“I still feel a responsibility knowing that out of those three kids, at least one will end up like me, the reserve one. And that hurts, that worries me,” Harry said.
