Andy Reids’ first year in Kansas has been anything but a success from his point of view. So after not getting the playing time he wanted over the seasons, LeVeon Bell shot Andy Reid. And Tyrann Mathieu didn’t want it.
The signing of LeVeon Bell in Kansas City sent shockwaves through the league. The rich keep getting richer. But his first season was not a success in all respects. Bell has played 9 games with the Chiefs, his playing time shrinking throughout his tenure.
And LeVeon Bell had a reason behind its lack of production. I would never play for Andy Reid again. I would retire first, Bell said in response to a fan comment on an Instagram post.

Tyrann Mathieu called LeVeon Bell after his comment on Andy Reid.
The former All-Pro rushed for just 254 yards and 2 scores while capturing 13 passes for 99 yards, during his time with the Chiefs. He didn’t play at all in the AFC Championship game against the Bills or the Super Bowl against the Buccaneers. And played second fiddle for rookie Clyde Edwards-Helaire for most of the season.
Andy Reid probably feels the same way about LeVeon Bell.

The Chiefs All-Pro defensive stud came out to support his head coach. The three-time All-Pro shot Bell and his inability to perform. These guys will blame everyone for their lack of success. That’s how I know I’m built differently, says Mathieu.

LeVeon Bell failed to make a good impression after his All-Pro season in 2017. Missing the entire 2018 season due to a contract dispute. And then after getting the contract, he wanted with the New York Jets, having failed to reach the 800 rushing yard threshold in 2019.
