Celebrities often like to hide their beauty secrets, especially when it comes to cosmetic surgery, but the new “Bachelorette” co-host is not hiding anything.
Kaitlyn Bristowe could have ignored a Twitter commentator who said there was something “different” about her appearance, even though they said they couldn’t quite pinpoint what it could be.
The new co-host of “The Bachelorette” was the frontrunner of the franchise in 2015, so obviously some changes in her appearance can just be attributed to age. But Kaitlyn decided to tackle the comment head-on with a refreshing and unexpected approach… honesty.
Responding directly to the Twitter user, Kaitlyn wrote: “I was on the show 6 years ago, brow lift, micro-blading brow, glued my teeth, a little bit of filling in my lips, aging, darker hair, and I’ve finally learned to count. “
I was on the show 6 years ago, eyebrow lift, eyebrow microblading, stuck teeth, lip filler, aging, darker hair and finally learned how to do contour. Oh and I’m gaining weight https://t.co/FmLLFoBVAk

She then added, “Oh and I put on some weight.” In other words, she wanted to cover all the bases. There’s a bit of aging in there, some weight gain, some makeup techniques, and a few minor cosmetic procedures.
Fans loved her honesty, with one fan still offering a few more reasons why she might look a little different all these years later. “Remember you’ve met the love of your life, opened multiple businesses and won the DWTS,” the fan commented. “This joy leaves a mark.”
Again, Kaitlyn stepped in to respond, simply writing “Amen.”
Amen

Kaitlyn is the reigning “Dancing with the Stars” champion, having won the Mirrorball Trophy with her partner, Artem Chigvintsev, in the fall of 2020. She is engaged to Jason Tartick, the Bachelor Nation star, with a view to a wedding in the summer of 2022..
Kaitlyn and her “Bachelorette” co-host Tayshia Adams – herself a former Bachelorette – are receiving rave reviews for their first season as co-hosts. Originally billed as mentors before Chris Harrison officially left the franchise, it’s unclear if they will continue in their roles.
Following Katie Thurston’s current season, Michelle Young is expected to take the reins in a fall run for the most part of reality, followed by a new edition of “The Bachelor.” Neither has started filming yet, and there has been no announcement of who could host or mentor.
You can check out some of the support Kaitlyn receives from her fans for her frankness and honesty, not to mention the unfair beauty standards imposed on women.
Imagine people expecting a woman to stay exactly the way she was 7 years ago. This is the reason why women are so hard on themselves. Stop. Always.

We need a circle of accountability for those in the #BachelorNation who shame current and previous #bachelorette and #bachelor candidates and leaders. @kaitlynbristowe you are beautiful: 6 years ago and today. Hope you know this and have a healthy relationship with your body

Thank you very much for sharing these details. I thought you looked really different from when you were on Bachelorette. You are beautiful in both ways, just different. What you choose to do with your look is 100% your decision so go for it!
