A former Alabama school administrator convicted of child pornography admitted to recording a young girl at his home while visiting his daughter.
Tim Clevenger, 54, pleaded guilty Thursday to two counts of producing child pornography and two counts of possessing child pornography, according to Al.com.
The former deputy headmaster of a high school outside Birmingham was previously convicted of the same charges in 2018, in a case involving another young victim who was friends with her daughter, the outlet reported.
In this case, Clevenger argued that it must have been his 9-year-old son who made the illegal recording and put it on his school computer, according to the article.
Clevenger filmed the girls using her bathroom or showering at night through the blinds outside the house in 2013, according to the report.
He was reportedly sentenced to 18 years for each count of production and seven years for each count of possession while his second victim sat in court to hear his guilty plea.
Today, for the first time, Tim Clevenger has admitted that he perpetrated these horrific crimes against a young girl, ”Blount County prosecutor Pamela Casey said, according to the outlet.
“In 2018, he refused to admit his guilt in the trial related to the first victim and instead testified that his 9-year-old son snuck out of the house at night and took these videos and uploaded them to this computer.”
It takes real shit to blame their own child for committing such despicable acts knowing they actually did it, Casey reportedly added.
Clevenger was initially arrested when technicians repairing his school-owned computer came across some of the illegal images, according to the report.
The recognized pedophile has been behind bars since his conviction in 2018, according to the article.
