Palestinian security officer killed in shooting, Israelis blamed

[ad_1]

A member of the Palestinian National Security Forces was killed in an alleged Israeli gunshot attack near the Palestinian town of Dayr Sharaf, northwest of Nablus in the West Bank, on Monday evening, according to Palestinian media. Early reports indicated that Israeli settlers shot at the security officer’s vehicle. Despite Palestinian reports, initial investigations by Israeli and Palestinian security forces indicated that the shooting was not carried out by Israeli settlers but rather by Palestinians in an internal incident. – (@glick_sh) June 22, 2021 The Palestinian who was killed has been identified as Alaa Khaled Zahran in early reports. In a separate incident on Saturday evening, Palestinian media reported that the Israelis shot at Palestinian shops near Dayr Sharaf without causing injuries. Earlier this month, two members of the Palestinian Authority military intelligence service and a Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorist were shot dead by Israeli security forces in Jenin, according to Palestinian reports.

The two members of military intelligence, Adham Yasser Eleiwi and Tayseer Ayasa, were killed in a shootout with Israeli security forces after Israeli troops entered the city to arrest terrorist suspects.
